What types of Ceremonies will an Ohio Clergy Services - Elyria Wedding Minister perform?
A Romantic Love (Civil) Wedding Ceremony, Religious Wedding Ceremony, Family Wedding Ceremony (including and honoring Children
and or Parents).

What is a Civil Wedding Ceremony?
A legal wedding ceremony performed with no mention of religion or God. Traditionally this ceremony was performed by the Justice of
the Peace, Mayor's, and Local Presiding Judges. We will gladly perform a Customized Romantic Love (Civil) Ceremony.

What is a Religious Wedding Ceremony?
A religious wedding ceremony includes God, prayer, benediction, reading from the Bible, Unity Candle, and much more.  We would be
honored to perform your Standard, Deluxe, or Customized Religious Ceremony.

What is a Family Wedding Ceremony?
A family wedding ceremony is just that Family!  We include your and your finance's child or children.  Being a parent or Step-parent isn't
easy.  Involving children in a part of your ceremony helps ease into blending a new family.   To Include Children in a Family Ceremony
helps them feel accepted by the new Step-parent.  One tool we use to achieve this is the Unity Sand Ceremony

Your wish may be to include a prayer to honor the presence of family member(s) no longer with you.  You may wish to paying honor to
parents for guiding and nurturing you down life's path up until your wedding day.  All of these feelings and thoughts can be
incorporated in your ceremony.

What is Justice of the Peace?
Justice of the Peace is no longer a legal in Ohio.  Justice of the Peace years ago would perform a Civil Wedding Ceremony for couples
eloping.  Justice of the Peace would perform a Civil Wedding Ceremony.  Rev. Rich & Rev. Mrs. Gillian Will perform a

What is the difference between Standard or Custom Wedding Ceremonies?
A standard wedding ceremony is a basic wedding ceremony.  It has all the legal components and it lasts 10 to 12 minutes. Our standard
"cookie cutter" ceremonies are the Love Ceremony and the Christian Ceremony.

A
custom wedding ceremony is written and created specifically for you and your fiancée from your own particular circumstances,
individuality, and desires.  You may browse through our vast selections of ceremony components to explore options.  We will include
poetry, lyrics from a favorite song, sonnet, prayer, bible verse, etc. You determine the length of your wedding ceremony, you also will
determine what traditional or untraditional rituals to add to your ceremony.

Examples of Traditional and Untraditional rituals: Who gives the Bride away?  Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Son, Brother, Mother,
Grandmother, Aunt, Sister, or Close Friend?  Basically anyone you wish!  It's your day!  Unity sand or candle ceremony,  rose ceremony
or rose presentation, A family member or friend reading:  a scripture from the bible, favorite poem, sonnet, prayer, or lyrics from a
favorite song, etc.  Giving the groom an earring instead of wedding band.  You and your fiancée may select  vows from our lengthly
resources or even write your own.   You and your fiancée will be able to let your own particular circumstances, individuality, and
desires be your guide.  Keep in mind this is your wedding and you will live with the memories of this wedding for the rest of your life!

What kind of music is appropriate for my wedding?
Let your musical tastes be your guide.  If a specific song has meaning in your life, has brought the two of you together, has meaning to
your family, etc.  It's appropriate.  It can be classical wedding, movie theme, Broadway show tune, old time rock and roll, bluegrass,
jazz, country, rhythm & blues etc. If you want to walk down the aisle to a "Tim McGraw", "Luther Vandross", or a  "Michael Bolton" love
song do it!..
